Friends at the Advent is a group of singles and couples in their 20s and 30s who attend the Church of the Advent in Beacon Hill, Boston.

“Fat A” (as it is affectionately known) was created to foster community, friendship and a shared sense of purpose among this demographic, one which is typically under-represented in church communities.

Friends at the Advent offers events that are convivial and relaxing, yet provide an opportunity to discuss issues about theology and faith as they relate to the modern, young professional experience.
